Hi, I am Rev. Dr. Alva Folkes, and this site is dedicated to the many who are seeking spiritual understanding, knowledge, and awareness.

Although our foundation is based on the concepts of "spiritualism", we are a very open minded organization.  We are aware that each person is unique and that perceptions and understanding of various spiritual concepts and principles varies between people.  Our purpose is to assist you with your own spiritual development, and to allow you to determine what spiritual beliefs, concepts or ideals ring true with you.  You are the only one who can define what your "spirituality" is.  

We welcome your interest in our organization, and extend an invitation to you to join us at one of our events or gatherings.

DLSF is a recognized independent denomination, is an incorporated registered charity with the Province of Ontario, and has the ability to ordain it's own ministers.  We are also registered through the Marriage Office of Ontario to provide marriage rites/ceremonies.
