Who We Are

Divine Light Spiritual Foundation (formerly known as The Fellowship of Spiritualist Church) has been involved with the Durham Region community for many years.  Our focus is to offer our community a spiritual alternative. Many who come from other religious backgrounds find that there is an ability within our organization to learn about their own spirituality at one's own pace, and to hold onto truths and beliefs that have meaning to them.  Asking questions and challenging philosophies is the norm.  It is a place where one will learn to understand that we are all one with the universe, that each of us is connected to each other, and the infinite source.

Our organization does not state that you must believe in our principles, or in anything that we teach for that matter.  Taking personal responsibility for one's own spiritual education is important.  We challenge you to read many different philosophies (including other religions), take workshops, take classes.  Utilize as many educational tools as you wish to learn and advance your education.

We, also, are a tool for learning, with one exception.  You have the ability to speak to people who, like you, are just starting their journey.  You also have access to those who have been on their spiritual path for many years.  What you can't feel when reading a book, is the brilliant energy of love that surrounds a room full of people who are like minded, who are on a journey of self-expression, self-expansion, and self-discovery.

Mission Statement

Our purpose is to assist individuals on their spiritual journey through the use of The Seven Principles of Spiritualism, Divine Services, Healing, Mediumship (Proof of Survival), Development Classes, and Workshops.
